Having himself been active in social life from a very young age, Satyajeet Tambe has a strong connect with the youth, issues they face and their aspirations. He believes in inculcating leadership abilities in them and record number of youth being elected to various governance positions during his stint as the Youth Congress president is a testament to this.

Having grown up in a progressive environment with his grandfather Bhausaheb Thorat being a revolutionary leader who was one of the pioneers in the co-operative movement and a strong believer in equal rights for women, Satyajeet Tambe is passionate about Nari-Shakti. During his time as Youth Congress President, the organisation had maximum ever number of young women in key positions. He has been vociferous for equal representation of women in governance and believes more women should be entrusted with leadership positions.
